The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources issued Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation No. 6 of 2026 on 12 June 2026 to amend and introduce several provisions under Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation No. 17 of 2025 concerning the reporting of mining activities and the issuance of Work Plans and Budgets in the mineral and coal mining sector. The amendments also introduce requirements for obtaining approval for coal blending activities, which must be fulfilled by mining business actors prior to conducting Coal Blending.

Kementerian ESDM menerbitkan Permen ESDM 6/2026 pada 12 Juni 2026 untuk mengubah dan menambahkan beberapa ketentuan dalam Permen ESDM 17/2025 terkait pelaporan kegiatan pertambangan dan proses penerbitan RKAB dalam sektor mineral dan batubara. Perubahan tersebut juga memperkenalkan persyaratan persetujuan pencampuran batubara yang perlu dipenuhi oleh Pelaku Usaha sebelum melaksanakan kegiatan Coal Blending.

Indonesia mulai menerapkan KBLI 2025 pada 18 Juni 2026, menggantikan KBLI 2020 berdasarkan Peraturan BPS No. 7/2025 untuk mendukung perizinan berbasis risiko (OSS).
